Larry Waters, born 1954, was elected to City Council in 2018, with status as a lifelong resident of Bacon County. While he has not served with the city previously, he worked at Benton Brothers car dealership in Alma for 30 years, with co-ownership for 21 years.
Larry has a loving wife in Joyce Waters, and they have been married for 37 years. They have two sons, Justin and Chase Waters, who are both college graduates.
Larry is an avid fan of the Red Raiders baseball team and the Georgia Bulldogs. When not immersed in his work, Larry enjoys keeping score for the local baseball team.
