Richard Jones comes with 21-yrs experience. He thrives in a fast paced and changing environment while sustaining operational accuracy and delivering results for optimal profitability. He has strong leadership, time management skills and DOT compliance. Richard was employed with the City of Douglas from 1998-2019 he left as the Collection & Distribution Division Supervisor.
Prior to that Richard was in DCPO United States Navy. He holds many certifications which include Water Operator Class I, Water Distribution Operator, Wastewater Collection System Operator, Wastewater Operator Class I, Georgia Backflow Tester and Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Level I-A.
My goal is to provide Public Works Services that merit the convenience of the general public and the elected officials. The services delivered to the citizens and community is to be provided in a reliable, efficient, and effective manner.
