Building Permits

Permit Process

• Building Permits can be issued two different ways, for individuals or general contractors.
• Once you fill out the permit information, you are required to meet with Code Enforcement Officer Arthur Outler so that the permit can be issued. 
• If you have concerns regarding building in a Flood Zone, please contact Code Enforcement Officer Arthur Outler.

Individuals 

If you are an individual who is seeking to build (not acting as a general contractor), you can obtain an Individual Building Permit. 
Please note that all other permits must be obtained by other individuals even though you are working at the same job site. 

General Contractors

If you are a general contractor, you can obtain all of the necessary permits to complete a job by obtaining a Building Permit Application.
