Alma-Bacon Crime Suppression Unit

The Alma-Bacon County Crime Suppression Unit is tasked with follow-up investigations into all criminal cases occurring within the City of Alma and Bacon County. The CSU strive to thoroughly and professionally investigate all unsolved crimes occurring within its jurisdiction. CSU is responsible for:

• identifying and apprehending offenders
• recovering lost or stolen property
• documenting, gathering, and assisting in the prosecution of those charges with criminal offenses. 

Our investigators are trained to work violent crimes, crimes against persons, property crimes, drug offenses, sexual assaults, missing persons, delinquent juveniles, and crimes against children, computer crimes, and miscellaneous offenses. 

Detective Liborio Saavedra (APD), Detective Rebecca Williams (APD), Chief Investigator Cabe Cartledge (BCSO), and Investigator Chap Gebhart (BCSO) make up Alma-Bacon County Crime Suppression Unit.
